Ido J. Alexander is a founding Partner at Leiderman Shelomith Alexander + Somodevilla, PLLC. Ido regularly represents trustees, business and consumer debtors, as well as creditors in Chapter 7 and 11 bankruptcy cases, debtors and creditors in insolvency, workout and liquidation matters, assignees in assignments for the benefit of creditors proceedings, and receivers in state and federal equity receiverships.

Born in West Palm Beach and raised in Israel and Atlanta, Ido graduated from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a Bachelors in Business Administrations with a focus on Marketing and a minor in Economics. In 2007 he graduated from the University of Miami’s Law and Business Schools, attaining his J.D./M.B.A. with an emphasis on Finance, Commercial and Bankruptcy law.  Ido began his career at a prestigious and established South Florida boutique bankruptcy firm.  Subsequently, he worked at another prestigious and rising firm, focusing his practice on Federal Equity Receiverships. In the last few years, after forming Alexander + Somodevilla, PLLC, Ido helped found LSAS Law (some of the partners are also alumni of the same prestigious firm where he began his career).

In the last six years, Ido has served as an officer of the Bankruptcy Bar Association of the Southern District of Florida, holding various positions, and holding the position of Immediate Past President as of July 1, 2017.
